Hi! I’m Monmon, founder and designer of Disco Eros Finos, a Brooklyn-based, genderless jewelry and accessory brand.

Growing up, I spent every summer at my grandma’s pearl farm in China. I’ve been fascinated by all the elegant yet playful pearl jewelry designs she shared with me, constantly asking her to show me the art of jewelry-making.

After moving to New York in 2016, I found myself captivated by the city's raw energy—the people, the culture, the constant reinvention. The underground dance floors and creative communities became a second home, where individuality thrived. I started wearing my own handmade jewelry to iconic venues like Brooklyn Mirage, Elsewhere, and House of Yes, my pieces sparked conversations with kindred spirits who shared my love for bold style and uninhibited self-expression.

Drawing inspiration from the disco culture and Y2K style while blending in classic elements, DEF features designs with heavy chains, freshwater pearls, sparkling crystals, vibrant gems, and fun vibe pendants. Each piece is crafted by hand with love in our Brooklyn workshop.

Every piece is designed in our Brooklyn studio, where I handcraft most pieces myself, while others are produced in small batches by my trusted supplier. This approach allows us to maintain quality, minimize waste, and uphold an ethical design process.

We prioritize sustainable materials, from sourcing ethically harvested freshwater pearls to using recycled metals wherever possible. Our small-batch production model helps reduce overstock and ensures that each item is made with intention, care, and attention to quality.
