About me

I’m Monmon, an independent designer, artist, and dancer at heart.

DEF started with a pair of earrings I made for a night out. One warehouse disco, three compliments, and a DM later, I realized I wasn’t the only one on the hunt for jewelry that hit harder.

I grew up spending summers at my grandma’s pearl farm in China. Now I handcraft pieces in NYC that blend softness with bite — just like you.

Most pieces are handcrafted by Monmon in Brooklyn. The rest are produced by trusted partners in small batches to keep quality high and waste low. We use ethically sourced pearls, recycled metals when possible, and materials chosen with care.
